From Nightmare — Surface Under Pressure
Based on a live model, this work explores the partial concealment of identity through the accumulation of material.
One side of the face remains relatively intact, while the other is gradually covered by layered, uneven deposits. The surface appears neither broken nor burned, but overtaken—suggesting a slow process of erasure rather than sudden damage.
The figure exists in a state between visibility and disappearance, where presence is not lost, but obscured. What remains is a tension between what can still be recognized and what is being silently concealed.
