Painted figures
appear alongside real pedestrians, merging with the flow of the street.
A multi-site
mural developed across different urban surfaces, where figures are placed
directly within everyday movement.
Public Mural Project – Third National Mural Biennial “Shahedan-e-Shahr”, Tehran, Iran, May, 2018
This work was
distributed across multiple locations in the city.
The figures are
placed in positions where they seem to move with passersby, becoming part of
the street rather than separate from it.
They are not
isolated or centered. Instead, they appear within the flow of everyday
movement—sometimes noticed, sometimes overlooked.
Rather than
forming a single scene, the work unfolds through repetition and displacement.
Viewers encounter fragments of presence as they move through the space.
What becomes
important is this shifting position—between observing and being part of the
scene. The city itself acts as both setting and structure for the work.
