From Nightmare — Surface Under Pressure

Material builds up and presses into the face, holding it in a state of compression.

The piece begins with a face.

Layers accumulate across the surface, pressing into the form and partially covering the features.

Nothing breaks open. The change builds slowly through repetition and pressure.

The face remains visible, but held—contained within its own material.

The form is shaped as much by what is added as by what is concealed.

It stays under pressure, without release.
