From Nightmare — Surface Under Pressure

Developed from a live model, this work explores the face as a surface subjected to sustained pressure.

Layers of material accumulate and compress across the form, partially obscuring the underlying features. Rather than rupture or erosion, the transformation appears gradual—built through repeated application and displacement.

The face remains visible, yet constrained, as if held within its own material. What emerges is a condition of containment, where form is shaped as much by what is added as by what is concealed.
